The organization doesn't believe that a mom or a grand mom not only requires food and shelter but a qualitative life she deserves, like others. It includes an appropriate companionship along with some regular activities, tourism and social work to a great extent. The traditional old-age homes are unable to fulfil those criteria because of the limitation in the thought process and a lot of infrastructural disadvantages. Resulting, those old-age homes become a boarding for the moms, as the boarders suffer from a confinement and monotony of life! Labannya is a woman-centric organization who works on women empowerment through their various welfare activities. So, as an outcome of our vast experience, we introduced this senior care division to serve urban senior women, so that they can get a flavour of a qualitative life and enjoy the spirit of life, within! Labannya does not have an old age home, nor have any future plan, regarding. We hire various rental flats in kolkata and accommodate our moms there with all modern amenities and personal care, like food, washing, cleaning, accompany etc. Moms can also stay alone in a single flat or she can share with 1/2 like minded co-residents. Labannya organises their daily needs by trained manpower and overall monitoring and supervision.
The unique features of Labannya Senior Care Division includes Travel and Tourism for the members. We offer 1-120 tour programs per year, especially at the Hill stations, Costal Stations and Forests, by rotation. Members can join us as per their choice and financial capabilities. This cost is separate and no tourism cost is included in the monthly cost.
Another attractive feature of Labannya Senior Care Division is Charity and Social Work. Interested members can join us in social activities, especially on rural women empowerment and environmental protection. Local event participation is completely cost-free for the members but the logistic and charitable costs need to be shared among the members.
Women aged in between 45 -65 years are only eligible to avail Labannya Senior Care facility. Interested women may contact us for further details. The cost for Labannya Senior Care depends on various factors and requirements. It ranges from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month and 12 months security deposit.
